CESAAM to Offer Short Course on Feed Formulation for Livestock Farmers Across Kenya
Empowering Farmers with Practical Skills for Improved Livestock Nutrition and Productivity
The Centre of Excellence in Sustainable Agriculture and Agribusiness Management (CESAAM) at Egerton University is pleased to announce a short training course on Feed Formulation, scheduled to take place from 14th to 18th July 2025. The training will be hosted at the university’s Njoro campus and is specially designed for livestock farmers across various counties in Kenya who are keen to enhance their skills in animal nutrition and sustainable feed management.
Why Feed Formulation?
As livestock farming continues to be a critical component of Kenya’s agricultural sector, feed remains the most significant cost in animal production. Proper feed formulation ensures that livestock receive balanced diets that meet their nutritional needs for growth, reproduction, and productivity.
